Is This My Colour?!

Life has definitely been eating into my scrappy time...actually, that's not quite true! I have been doing loads of crafting...just nothing on the challenge front, until now!

Sarah's Cards Ltd, a crafty shop that I just love, have a lovely sketch challenge this month. Super simple, but perfect for putting your spin onto. Don't you find that sometimes? If a sketch is too detailed you find yourself following it to the ink splat??? Or is that just me?!!!

So here is my take with a fetching Instagram of DGD 'testing' the lipsticks in Superdrug!!! LOL.....I think she was more surprised that I asked her to pose for a photo rather than whipping out a baby wipe!!

I have dug into my CKC....yay!!!

I had totally forgotten about these old Prima letters.....super sparkly :)

painted and die cut corrugated card butterfly.......journal card pulls out

told ya! By sheer luck the MME stamp had 4 1/4 as a measurement...her I applied more pressure to that bit of the stamp.

The circle 'paper' in the background is texture paste through a mask onto acetate...deffo doing this looks fabulous in real life. The background is a Glitz 6 x 6 paper trimmed down by 1/2" on each side.
I had a great time putting this one together. Here's the sketch if you would like to play along :)

Thanks for popping in today,

Ali x
