Hello,
I was thrilled to get the email from Bethany asking if I would like to be their guest designer this month. I stumbled across their blog a couple of months ago and I can honestly say it is my favourite of all the blogs I follow :0) the DT is inspirational, the challenges are fabulous and I just love that I get to use up some of my old stash that has been lurking around for a while (a lot of my stuff gets donated to DD#2, but there is always something that never quite sees the light of day....although it does now!)
I loved the idea behind this month's inspiration kit see it here and decided to go with ROYGBIV so my kit is called 'Follow the Rainbow' - although not quite.... as I have left out Violet as I HATE purple, lol.
A list of my supplies:
Papers:
6 x 6 Bazzill 'Vintage Marketplace' collection
MME 'Fine and Dandy' Dapper
Anna Griffin 'Willow' collection
Crate Paper 'Neighbourhood' Home
MME 'Lost and Found' best of Friends
Glitz 'Hoopla' Zebra
Cosmo Cricket 'Social Club' Manhattan
Anna Griffin 'Orange Spots'
7 Gypsies 'Creme'
OA 'Farhouse' Porch Swing
Cardstock:
Red, Navy and a foiled white from Kanban
The rest will probably white and kraft from American Crafts
Alphabets - Basic Grey and Echo Park
Stamps MME and Heidi Swapp
White Twill
American Crafts Rub-Ons
October Afternoon Stickers
Journal Spots from Pinterest
Tattered Angels Chalkboard 'Firefly' Mist (not sure I can stick to one!) NOTE: since writing this and starting to play with my kit I swapped the yellow for 'forged' black mist :0)
Black Washi Tape (again, not sure I can stick to one reel!)
Chipboard letters that I am determined to use as they have to be at least 3 years old!
Hat Pins - apart from tuck them into ribbon I don't really know what to do with them so fingers crossed I will be inspired to put them to good use!
and my surprise item? Well it had to be something forged!! I was looking at the new MME products and fell in love with their layered stickers
so decided to copy a few:
Goodness........ I think I had better get cracking if I am to use all this up within a month! My intention is to keep with the rainbow theme and make sure that I do a layout that covers every one of the six colours of the rainbow ;0)
Thanks so much for popping in to see me, I am so looking forward to my month with CKC :0) Now off you go to see Crystal's gorgeous kit....and don't stop till you get to the end of the blog hop list (they are all smashers!)

The butterfly is a MS stamp that I have fussy cut and matted onto Spellbinders die cut shapes and the rest was cut on my Silhouette. |
