CKC 'Queen for a Day'

Hello,

with all the Jubilee stuff happening last weekend I had to do something that related to Britannia!! This is my RED layout using my CKC Kit. It's a photo of me opening my presents on Mother's Day and my girls really did make me feel like a Queen, not just for that day as they always make me feel special, but they really did push the boat out with an afternoon full of surprises and treats :0)

More of those chipboard letters - yay! Teh crown is from Pink Paislee's London Market Ephemera pack. The strip of words was cut from a freebie download from Scrap365

Loving the Tattered Angels Glitter Glam - it dries slightly raised. The white banner was embossed with a Sizzix folder.

aaah Washi Tape and a really old rub on!
Thanks so much for popping in,

  6. Fabulous washi...& that li'l heart transfer works so, so nicely on it:):) Good on your DD doing uni....it's a great feeling of achievement & I found it was great to boost the self esteem...makes you realise anything you can set your mind to....especially as a SM....it will turn her life around, which is FANTASTIC. I don't do it much now...but that sense of being able to do anything has really stayed with me, as I'm sure it will her. Good on her for getting out there & just 'doing it':):):) And go the Queen, here., looks like she's having a ball...of kinds!!!!!!:):):):)
