Upcycling Rubbish :0)

Hi

I have a sweet little project today made from bits of old acrylic from DH's work. He noticed that I was working on an acrylic album a while ago and told me that they are always throwing bits out. Well, you can imagine, I demanded that these poor pieces of acrylic deserved a better life than the bin, so home some of them came with DH!!

These ones have been laser cut to 6 x 6 so all I did was punch the holes :0)

Papers are OA Farmhouse (my all time favourite) this time using the 8 x 8 pad as the patterns are scaled down. I am really getting into these smaller pads, I think it may be because I am using more and more white as a background so feel happier about cutting up small pieces of paper!!

I made these scraps into a photo frame. In effect I treated each 6 x 6 like a mini page and then tied them all together. I have even put card on the back so that I could journal about each photo (they are all of the 'self portrait' variety - you know, hold your camera at arms length and hope for the best!)

The kraft label is Papermania , the small one has been die cut from scrap. The butterfly is from Pink Paislee and the banner button is MME

I made the banner and rosette from scraps

Stamped banner - stamp is Pink Paislee and the glass paper clip is GCD Studios
and here is a rather rubbish photo of it sitting in my craft room :0)
Thanks so much for popping in,

Ali x
