LGS Challenge 6 'La Luna'

Hello all,

I am back after a fabulous holiday and very much in the scrapping mood! I am determined to complete the Turkey album before I start the one for Tunisia so as soon as the washing and ironing was done I spent some much needed R & R in my craft room :0)

I loved this month's kit inspiration from Counterfeit Kit Challenge, so hastily assembled some stuff together - no photo again as I just can not wait to start! It's not about the kit so much as the direction it leads me in. I tend to only worry about the papers and let the rest come together naturally - although I did dabble with the tag tutorial.....amazing!!! More of that to come later in the week :0)

So this layout's inspiration came from the girls at LGS:

Papers are MME 'Miss Caroline - Dilly Dally', a bit of OA and a smidge of Basic Grey

Haven't made a lollipop flower in ages :0) The woodgrain paper is to represent the wooden board our steak was served on!

I know it's weird but I love dodgy typing!!
Here is the lovely sketch that prompted it all:

I am cutting it fine as the deadline is far off, but I loved the sketch and wanted to get back into some challenges :0)

Thanks for popping in,

Ali x

  4. Very lovely. I really like what you did with the lollipop flower - how you distressed it. And the circle of stitching adds so much with just that one little detail.

  5. I love your take on how you create your kit - sounds like so much fun and you always create such wonderful layouts too! This one is a winner. I adore the stitching and the typewriter journalling is awesome - makes me want to get one for myself! Fab
