ScrapFit Warm Up #31 'Forever'

For those of you who have followed me for a while you won't be surprised to hear that I love white backgrounds and if not white then a solid colour!

Recently, I have been using some of my patterned papers purely because my style has evolved so much that I rarely use my ridiculously large stash of 12 x 12s. Whilst perusing the blogs I follow I noticed that ScrapFit had this exact same challenge, so pulling some of my new Scraptastic Kit out of the box.......why have I not had kits before?????!!.......... I put another Italian layout together.

BP is Studio Calico (my new fave!) with washi tape from my stash 

Happy tag is my new Kaisercraft Grungy Alphabet stamps...delicious eh? and then overstamped with a Kaisecraft background stamp, then die cut on the GC and edged with a Pro Marker. Plus my new Elle Studio 'notes' stamp, an OA little flyer and date tag all from my kit :0) The dotty paper is MME and the button is OA

Handcut chevrons (like you couldn't tell!) Title was cut on the Silhouette and the little star stamp is from Pink Paislee

Let's Get Sketchy #28 'Climb'

I am slowly getting back into my scrapping groove and finding time to participate in a  few challenges :0)
First up for this week is LGS!

The postman delivered my Claudine Helmuth stamps that I got in the clearance at QVC and I couldn't wait to have a play! I also received all my prints of our Italian holiday so thought I would combine the two and get cracking with my Project Italy album.

The bp is the reverse side of another Vintage Vogue paper. Lake Mist Paint Dabber to tone it down a bit.

MME and Cosmo Cricket papers, Prima resin flower, Crate Paper heart, the journal tag is one I printed from Pinterest. Glimmer Glam splatters and Claudine stamps (foam ones with paint and clear stamps in black ink)

More CH stamping, another journal tag printed from Pinterest in grey and then Pro Markered

Happy News :0)

Oh I have been bursting to share my news...and now I can!! We have known for weeks but wanted to wait till after the first scan......DD#2 is expecting :0)

I wrote a journal during DD#1's pregnancy and wanted to do the same for 'Seymour' (this is what the bump has been named for the duration of the gestation......;0))

I pulled out another couple of memory files, a Colour Magic one and a Sugar Chic one and stuck them together.

I covered the front with Papermania Happy Days paper. Used some inked Colour Magic paper to make a banner. Stamped a flag and cut a title on the Silhouette

The inside was inked with pink, blue and lime as we won't know the sex until Seymour arrives...although I think it's a girl!! I made another Foto Stack with a selection of pretty papers and have been journalling week by week. 

This will be an ongoing project, obviously!! I will share it on it's completion. There will be loads of room for journalling, scan pictures and photos of our new bundle....oh I can't wait!!

Skissedilla #174 'Wrinkles'

Oh what a delicious place for inspiration Skissedilla truly is!!

I am delighted to have stumbled across these sketches and the DT are out of this world!!!

I had no choice but to find the time to play, and boy did I play!! Paint, Glimmer Glam and Ink were all over me, my desk and the floor by the time I had finished....there were quite a few attempts before I was happy to  go with this particular flow :0)

The photo is a recent one of me taken on a dog walk, i.e. not looking my best! When DH uploaded it onto the computer I was going to delete it as I didn't like all the wrinkles on show, but then I thought, actually this is how I look, live with it!!
I rarely scrap myself, unless I am with someone, so this is me wrinkles..ahem, excuse me.... laughter lines and all!!

I recently bought Pink Paislee's Vintage Vogue collection as it was on sale, now you know I hate purple, well on the flip side there are some fantastic prints - this is one of them :0)

Hmmm this hasn't come out brilliantly on the photo but it is the Colour Magic letters spelling 'wrinkles'

CSI #35 'Happiness'

Hello...again!!

So I manged to get some scrapping done yesterday afternoon and decided that as I had missed out on the last CSI Case File as a Special Invesigator I would at least get it finished and up in the gallery :0)

Another beauty I think you will agree:

Here is my take:

BP is October Afternoon. Lots of different paints and inks on this one...the paper buckled quite a lot but I don't mind! I cut the white flower shape on the Silhouette

MME stamps ...you just can't go wrong!

Just to show you what happens when the sun goes behind a cloud...where has all the colour gone?????? 

I had lots of fun dabbling around with bits and bobs...oh it's good to be back in my room :0)
