Love Your Laugh

I have had so much fun playing with the Lulu and Roy Collection from Kaisercraft that I had to make another layout!

I just love the diversity of the colour palette. On this one I have picked out pink and apricot, with a little dash of grey to cool it down.

I used Glossy Accents on the letter stickers to give them some dimension.

There are so many gorgeous little diecuts in the 6 x 6 pad....perfect for finishing touches :)

I love the 'dictionary' paper...how sweet to do it in pink (there's a foiled version in the 6 x 6 pad!)

Salt Love

I love it when we have a new sketch to play with at Sketchbook365!! This month's a real doozie, plus we were given BoBunny's new collections to play with!!

I got Zip-A-Dee-Doodle......I did a happy little dance when I opened the box...it is right up my street :)

With a fabulous palette of white, blue and green with a lot of black doodling it was the perfect way to start off my Cuba album :D

With the exception of some Glitter Glam 'Ocean Spray' (of course!), the twine around the 'lifebelt' the Studio Calico boat and the little red brad, everything has come from this beautiful BoBunny collection.

Thanks for popping in today. I really do hope that you play along with this sketch as I hear they have a new editor over at Sketchbook/Scrap365 ;)

A Year of 8ness

WARNING: photo heavy post as it's Mini Album time!! :D

Every year I create an album for my God-daughter documenting the fun things she has done in the previous 12 months. click here to see last year's

After rooting around my album drawer I came across a tag album....with 6 pockets....perfect one pocket for every two months :D

So let's get on with it as there are a lot of photos to get through!

I gessoed the front cover to tone the colour of the chipboard down a bit and then used a mask and Distress Inks (again!!! I know, but I love it!!)

Fancy Pants number, Spellbinders Die '@', Heidi Swapp glitter bow, Elle Studio tag

Some months have more photos than others......I am just given the photos on a memory stick :) I don't think it matters though. I have decorated all of the tags but I'm not sure that her Mummy will want me sharing all of her photos....so here are some close ups :)

a painted Craftwork Cards chipboard heart, Ali Edwards banner cut on the Silhouette

Pretty Little Studio Vintage card

This book paper butterfly was one of the gazillion I had to make when GD came for the day. I had put some into a kit for her and she had run out....So she did the die cutting and painting and I did the sticking and stamping!! I was allowed to have one :)

So that's another year done and dusted.....I can not believe she is 9 now...well 9 1/4 cos it's taken me forever to get this done LOL!!

It's a Challenge!

We have this month's challenge up at Merly Impressions blog to use different photo sizes, other than 6 x 4.

Now for most of my crafty friends this will not phase you in the slightest as I know that you do already!! So, go on, get cracking :)

Here's my take with an Instagram photo (taken off FB)

Yummy Yummy Lulu and Roy collection used here. There are so many beautiful papers to use, so I layered them up! You will notice that I was so excited I couldn't be bothered to cut them square!! LOL

Just look at the finish on this paper....AMAZING!

Kaisercraft Background stamp.....lush!

Beautiful little detail stickers and, of course, Kaisercolour paint flicked in wild abandon!

I know I say it every month, but this collection really is a beaut :) I was lucky enough to be able to choose Lulu and Roy to play with and I think I made the perfect choice!! The colours are perfect for everything :)

Thanks for popping in today and don't forget to play along with us,
