Frosted Designs #47 'Eggs'

Random title I know!!

It refers to the numbered egg people we play with in the bath, from lining them up, playing Mums and Dads, to filling them with bath water and squirting them....not Mamma's favourite game as I always get drenched!!

This is my penultimate layout for the Frosted Designs DT. There are going to be lots of exciting changes over there in the near future so keep your eyes peeled :0)

I really enjoyed creating this layout - it doesn't actually look like one of mine! I spent a lot of time on the background and I think because I used a large photo it didn't give me the white space I usually go for......still, nice to ring the changes :0)

BP is MME. I have inked through a dotty mask (fast becoming my fave) and then stamped with a Kaisercraft background stamp. Cut some large numbers on the Silhouette and misted over them with Tattered Angels. Then randomly stamped with an Ali Edwards word stamp.

The banner was cut on the Silhouette using MME paper. Homemade washi as I didn't have the right colours!

We had yet another lovely sketch from Karin......I love it because there are so many parts to it for inspiration :0)

Woo hoo it's Christmas Eve my favourite day of the whole year! I love the smells from the cooking, the visitors who drop in for a mince pie, the carols from Kings College on the radio, last minute wrapping, the early start at the supermarket for all the veg, cream and milk and the anticipation of a wonderful day tomorrow with those I love most in the world :0)

Lovely bright page today - I must have been feeling super happy when I made this lo :0) One thing I have realised when writing in my journal is that I need more space - so next year I really am going to make it about the 'diary' rather than the 'decorating'
